Christian Churches bring People
to Altar Calls in Liturgical Services

People in Christian churches have altar calls each time they share Holy Communion. In the service based on the Word of God, people in Christian churches confess their sins and declare that Jesus Christ is Lord.

Christian Churches and Altar Calls

I sometimes hear Christians criticize liturgical churches because they don’t have altar calls. The Bible says that we should publicly confess with our mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord (Rom. 10:8–10).

I have good news. Liturgical Christian churches have altar calls. Every time they celebrate Holy Communion in the Christian churches, people proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord and publicly ask forgiveness for sin. They confess their faith in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit by speaking the Apostles Creed or another creed. Then the forgiven sinners walk up to the altar and boldly accept the body and blood of Jesus Christ.

Christians repeat their belief in the Savior each time they partake of the Lord’s Supper. These are not dead spoken words. In God’s eyes, the Christian churches and their people live.

So next time you hear or perhaps say that someone goes to a dead Christian church, don’t believe it. Our Father has redeemed children in all Christian Churches. God-fearing people in liturgical churches confess with their mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord. They do this often, and the Holy Spirit quickens their spirit and gives them life.

Some Protestants have not understood the liturgical worship services. The words spoken in each liturgy came from the Holy Bible. Our God gave the format for liturgical worship early in the history of the NT Christian Churches.

Christian Churches bring restoration to our spiritual houses

Father, I thank you for working in the many different types of Christian churches. Father, I thank you for your grace and salvation that you give to each of us. Father, I thank you for your love, mercy, and compassion that you lavishly pour out in all settings. Lord Jesus, we thank you for the gift of life that you give in all Christian churches. Lord Jesus, I praise and glorify your Holy Name. Amen! Amen!”
